A suicidal woman drove her car off a cliff – with three dogs, two cats, two tortoises and her pet parrot on board. The driver, 60, suffered broken bones and internal ­injuries, but her pets escaped unscathed when the car landed on rocks. She was seen ­accelerating towards the 30ft drop into the sea in Marseille, Southern France. A police spokesman said: “We are treating this as attempted suicide.
