Departure in dream
Goodbye guys,
young ideas I kiss you
one at a time.
I’m leaving,
I leave this hotel,
happy island
in the outskirts’
desert stubbles,
no-man’s-land.
I gather here the baggage,
too many,
carrying away mine and those
of someone who by distraction
has left to me.
Something I’ll have to leave here,
something perhaps
I must have the courage to throw away
in order to move on
lightly enough.
Goodness knows if it’ll be long
the journey
and where I’ll go.
It’s the baggage that concerns me
and the certainty that I’ll miss you.
I go boys, I go,
I kiss you individually,
of everyone of you
I take something with me
and the suitcases’ weight
already seems off my mind.
