Seduction

She carries good things with herself,

At the baker’s she just bought the bread,

at the market she has filled up the bag

with summery fruit and vegetables,

under a bunch of perfumed herbs.

She hasn’t bought anything

at "Le Delizie" stall,

but who meets her

wants to stop with her

at the fresh table,

under the rustling branches

of her linden tree.
