The Three Graces, by Antonio Canova.
A follow up of recent posts - there are enough now for my vanity to self-refer! First thing first, top story in Italy right now is about helicopters and Prosecco wine.
[from Italian monthly paper Il Piave] "At the end I won! Reason won over Bureaucracy!" said Mr Luca Zaia, deputy governor of region Veneto, happy for having obtained by central government the season extended for helicopters to spray vines in the Conegliano - Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOC area: "I consumed my heels by shuttling between Venice and Rome".
If you wonder why Mr Zaia has (or so he seems to claim) covered several times the 400 miles between Venice and Rome by foot, here's a reminder of a possible explanation... and if you read Italian and want to have more fun about the Zaia in subject, Corriere della sera's Marisa Fumagalli recently met him on the beach.
